Mid & West Wales Senedd Member Eluned Morgan Visits Menter a Busnes to Witness Impactful Projects

Menter a Busnes was honoured to welcome Eluned Morgan, Mid & West Wales Senedd Member, to its Aberystwyth office, where she engaged in a comprehensive exploration of various projects that showcase the diverse range of initiatives undertaken by the organisation.

During her visit she had the opportunity to interact with members of the dedicated team at Menter a Busnes, gaining valuable insights into the breadth and impact of the organisation’s work across different sectors. The engagement provided a platform for fruitful discussions and an exchange of ideas, reinforcing the collaborative efforts between Menter a Busnes and the Welsh Government.

As part of the visit she was taken to witness firsthand the tangible benefits Menter a Busnes projects bring to local businesses which included a visit to Cattlestrength.

Cattlestrength is a unique gym situated on a farm in Felinfach near Aberaeron. Rhys, the owner, shared his journey of development, highlighting the crucial support he received initially from Farming Connect and subsequently from the Arfor fund. This dual support has been instrumental in propelling Cattlestrength to new heights, underscoring the transformative impact Menter a Busnes has on diverse businesses in Wales.

Eluned Morgan expressed her enthusiasm about the visit, stating,

“I am impressed by the innovative projects Menter a Busnes is supporting all across the country. Backing business in rural Wales is key to unlocking our economic potential. Menter a Busnes plays an important role, supporting the work of the Welsh Government, in delivering for our rural communities with schemes like ARFOR. The positive outcomes at Cattlestrength reinforce the importance of such initiatives in fostering sustainable communities, economic growth and rural development.”
